With the Smartcret Mega Microcement Kit, you can renovate 24 m² of non-absorbent surfaces in kitchens, bathrooms and showers effortlessly. This ready-to-use kit contains everything you need, making it easy to achieve your dream makeover without removing existing materials. It's a simple DIY project, even for beginners.

These high-quality products ensure a professional finish on interior surfaces like tiles, mosaic, marble, terrazzo, and more.

This Mega Microcement Kit for kitchens, bathrooms and showers, suitable for 24 m² of non-absorbent surfaces, offers:

  • 3 Smart Jointer 1,5 kg: Tile grout joint filler. It's a high-adhesion, quick-drying filler used to smooth the surface before applying Smartcret's ready-to-use microcement. Resistant to water and ambient humidity.
  • 3 Smart Primer PLUS 1 L: Water-based acrylic primer used to enhance adhesion of Smartcret microcement on non-absorbent surfaces.
  • 6 Smart Base 8 kg: Preparatory ready-to-use microcement. This pigmented product with larger granules is applied to the base surface to ensure its consistency. It doesn't provide the final finish.
  • 3 Smart Liso 6 kg: Finishing ready-to-use microcement. This pigmented product, applied after Smart Base, has a finer granule size and is responsible for providing the uniform, smooth, and soft aesthetics of the microcement.
  • 3 Smart Varnish 2 L: Ready-to-use water-based polyurethane varnish. It seals and protects the microcement from external agents such as abrasion or water damage. It enhances the color of the new coating and is available in matte and satin finishes.
  • 6 Smart Booster 50 g: Component B added to the varnish for enhanced protection against chemical agents, increased hardness, and more resistance to abrasion.
  • Sanding discs: Sandpapers with different grains for sanding the various layers of the products included in this Smart Kit. You'll find five 40-grit sandpapers, ten 220-grit sandpapers, and five 400-grit sandpapers.

Please note that Smartcret offers a separate toolkit for applying microcement, which is not included in this ready-to-use Smart Microcement Kit but is necessary for correctly applying the products. These tools include rollers, a spatula, protective masking tape, and a polycarbonate trowel.

Do you have doubts about whether you can use the Mega Kit of microcement to make a countertop? Let us clear them up for you! Thanks to its resistance to water (not standing water) and ambient humidity, it’s a perfect solution to turn it into the standout piece of furniture in your bathroom. However, we don’t recommend or guarantee the final result when applying it to a kitchen countertop for the following reasons:

  1. Microcement is not resistant to extreme heat: Avoid placing very hot pots or pans directly on it. Use placemats or a wooden board to protect the countertop.
  2. Do not cut food directly on the countertop: The marks left behind can affect the appearance of your countertop.
  3. Be careful with stains! The longer you leave an oil or grease stain on your countertop, the harder it will be to remove. To protect the countertop, use Smart Varnish and Smart Booster, which offer up to 8 hours of protection thanks to their great chemical resistance (see table in the technical data sheet). And for daily cleaning, use Smart Cleaner. Don’t leave it for tomorrow!
