Among its main features, it stands out for easy and simple application in thin layers ranging from 1 mm to 2 mm, preventing cracking, with excellent resistance to wear and ultraviolet rays, making it suitable for installation on both interior and exterior surfaces.
The mineral nature of this substance inhibits the formation of a film on the substrate, making it a highly breathable and fire-resistant product.
Thanks to its formula, it exhibits excellent adhesion to mineral and porous substrates, providing a consolidating effect on deteriorated supports and offering water-repellant protection. Another common use is serving as an aesthetic renewal mortar for restoration, heritage, and theming.

Application
Application of Smartcover Repair: Concrete repair mortar
- Before treating the surface with Smartcover Repair, the substrate must be properly prepared. It should be clean and free of dust, grease, or dirt.
- In the case of requiring repair or joint sealing, proceed before applying the Smartcover Repair concrete repair mortar.
- Prepare the surface by protecting the entire perimeter and areas that will not be subject to Smartcover Repair, especially if they are metallic, lacquered, glass, or wood.
- The colored Smartcover Repair concrete repair mortar must be mixed with water. We recommend using the following mixing ratio: 10 kg of Smartcover Repair + 3 L of Water (According to the desired texture).
- To do this, incorporate the water into a suitable container and with low-speed mechanical stirring, gradually add the mortar until you obtain a homogeneous mixture without lumps. Let the mixture rest for 3 - 5 minutes and stir again.
- In the case of porous surfaces (concrete, mortar, limestone, etc.), moisten the surface beforehand, without leaving puddles or excess water.
- Whitish marks may appear on some supports (depending on the absorption of each material or the presence of moisture during curing).
- It is recommended to apply two coats of the product in general. Let it dry between applications. We recommend leaving 4 - 6 hours between coats. Seal with the water-based concrete varnish Smart Varnish Repair by applying two coats of the product. Do not leave excess or leftover product. The application should be done at ambient temperatures and substrate temperatures ranging from 5ºC and 30ºC, without excessive wind. To ensure optimal absorption, the substrate must be thoroughly cleansed.
